Manufacturing Engineer (Johor)

Tridonic.Atco (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd being a subsidiary of a public listed company, The ZUMTOBEL Group in Austria. Our company was established 6 years ago in a sub-urban town called Ulu Tiram (Desa Cemerlang), in the state of Negeri Johor, Malaysia. Its core business of product is Ballast and Transformer, and with a strong brand name and product quality; we intend to strengthen our commitment and grow our customer base, particularly in the Asean region.

Currently we are looking for a competent Manufacturing Engineer in a plant located at Desa Cemeralng. We are looking for a candidate that is hands on and ready to embark on a challenging career and good future prospect.

Manufacturing Engineer
(Johor)

Responsibilities:

Responsible for effective and efficient administration of his work group in meeting the productivity, quality and delivery goals of the company
Responsibilities include providing technical support, smoothen layout and process flow, shortened manufacturing leadtime in line with Lean Manufacturing Concept.
Ensure proper manufacturing work method; drive to improve line and machineries efficiency.
Familiar with ISO9000 standard and maintain procedures, work methods according to the standard.
Analyze, develop and implement plans that best address the quality problems at all operations, final inspection / audit.
Passionate with improvement process and recommend changes on fixture, machines, equipment and materials that will improve line quality and productivity.
Familiar with 5S, maintain good housekeeping practices, problem solving tools, 8D, FMEA

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent.
Required language(s): English.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Industrial or equivalent. Job role in Industrial/Production Engineer or equivalent.
Full-Time positions available.
Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Good knowledge in Microsoft Office and Auto Cad softwares
Familiar in FMEA,POKA-YOKE, SPC, ISO9001 and PDCA will be an advantage
Have a good knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
