IT Executive (System/ Software Support)
(Immediate vacancy)

(Kuala Lumpur - (next to KLCC))



Responsibilities:
Assist in the formulation, planning, recommendation of technical and hardware strategies, related to Information Technology, in line with the company business plans.
Assist in the development, implementation and management of IT technical project/ sub-projects, particularly in (but not limited to) the areas of local area network, wide area network, Operating Systems, databases, Email systems, Firewalls and Antivirus.
Formulate, manage and control all technical documentation of the company – Operations Manual, Network documentation, System documentation, PC related documentation.
Ensure that all hardware peripherals are operating optimally and properly maintained.
Ensure that all system security measures are in place.


Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Management Information System/Computer Science/Computer Engineering from a recognized institution.
Preferably with working experience with Windows Server, Windows XP and networking supports, operations and implementation.
Must have good understanding of web-technologies and hands-on experience in PHP, MS Access/ Mysql.
Possess good analytical thinking and sound technical skills with ability to perform Windows environment trouble-shooting and support.
Goods communication skills both verbal and written.
Immediate candidates required.
Candidates without formal qualifications but possess at least 3 years of related experience are also encouraged to apply.

Remuneration for the position will commensurate with qualification and experience.

ASSISTANT IT MANAGER

Responsibilities:
Lead, manage and oversee the IT Function and development within the Group.
Lead IT development to meet organizational user’s needs by strategic IT planning and implementation of IT best practice to support the business.
Manage IT project and work closely with the IT vendors.
Develop IT protocols and rules and regulations to ensure user compliance.
Provide technical support, data security, disaster recovery and overall risk management.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
At least 5 years working experience in related IT field, preferably in retail industry
Strong knowledge of MS SQL Servers
Excellent knowledge in Excel VBA programming.
Familiar with Hardware & Software including Windows, Exchange Server, VPN, LAN & WAN Networking, Citrix, Sharepoint and Firewall
Good initiative, strong analytical, problem-solving skills and able to work independently
Able to communicate with all levels of staff and management

Possess good sense of design/layout/colour, meticulous in details, able to conceptualize & able to work under tight deadlines or over-time.

 

Requirements:

 
Skills in preparing Finished Artwork (FA) is necessary.
Required skill(s): Print design knowledge & Adobe programmes skills. 
Required language(s): Chinese & English. Bahasa is a plus. 
At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

On contract basis of 3 or 6 months. Contract to be renewed 2 weeks before any end dates.
